April 2023: Astrological Events + Tarot Reading

by | Mar 24, 2023 | Astrology, Tarot Readings

April is a special month that brings new beginnings, joy and hope. It is the perfect time to reset one’s goals and focus on creating positive habits while leaving old patterns behind. April ushers in warmer weather, longer days and an overall feeling of renewal as nature comes alive after winter. People often use this month to explore new hobbies, spend time outdoors and appreciate the beauty of nature.

There are many astrological transits in the month of April, but I am focusing on the ones that are most likely to effect your life and your readings.

03 April: Mercury enters Taurus

As the energy of Aries encourages us to move forward, it is important to remember to save up and plan ahead. This can help ease financial concerns during the upcoming retrograde, which is always known to bring obstacles, delays and roadblocks. Prepare yourself now with smart saving habits so that you can enjoy a successful and productive spring.

05 April: Full Moon in Libra

Today is the perfect day to start creating a better balance in all aspects of our lives. Setting up clear boundaries between “me” time and “we” time can help to establish healthier relationships with ourselves and those around us.

Seeking out a healthy work/life balance can also help bring more joy into our lives, allowing us to feel better about the time we spend working as well as outside of our jobs. Achieving this balance may take some effort and dedication, but it will be worth it in the end.

10 April: Venus enters Gemini

As Venus enters Gemini, it’s the perfect time to use your words to strengthen or develop relationships. Whether you’re looking for a new romantic adventure or reconnecting with an old flame, take advantage of this period and let your feelings be known. Witty conversations, flirtatious banter, and heartfelt declarations of love are sure to help sweeten the deal – so don’t be afraid to speak up and make things happen!

14 April: Mercury goes direct in Taurus

Oh thank the Gods. As Mercury goes direct in Taurus, the air of confusion and uncertainty of this chaotic retrograde period has lifted, allowing us to think clearly once again. This is a great time to start taking steps towards your long-term goals and laying a strong foundation for the future. Now that our thoughts (and technologies) are back on track, let’s use this opportunity to make lasting progress and set ourselves up for success.

19 April: New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries

With the new moon solar eclipse, it’s the perfect time to take a stand against restrictive systems and break away from alliances that no longer serve us. Don’t be afraid to challenge the status quo and fight for what you want – now is your chance to blaze a new trail and make your way to the top!

20 April: Sun enters Taurus

As the sun moves into Taurus and Mercury prepares to retrograde (again?!), it’s time to set our sights back on the ground. Take this opportunity to take it slow and enjoy the small moments life has to offer. Appreciate the simple pleasures that are often overlooked and embrace a slower pace for the next four weeks.

21 April: Mercury goes retrograde in Taurus

Mercury can’t seem to make up its mind. Just 7 days after Mercury went direct in Taurus, it’s now going back to retrograde. With the onset of Mercury’s second retrograde of the year, let’s use this time to clear out the things that no longer serve us. That could mean old clothes, outdated beliefs and habits, or anything else that keeps us stuck in place. So grab your broom and start dusting off – it’s time for some major spring cleaning!
